14 BEST REASONS TO BE A STAY AT HOME MOM
The debate over if being a mom is worth it has been going on for years, with many women disagreeing. But there's no question that being an SAH mom can be one of the best things in your life- so long as you make sure to consider all options before deciding! Not only do we have to make the difficult choice about if it’s right for us personally stay home and take care of our kids full time, but also live with all its consequences. For me that was an easy decision-I love being at home with them! But some people might not be so sure given their jobs or financial situation etc., in which case this could become a very tough call
THERE ARE LOTS OF GOOD REASONS TO BE A STAY AT HOME MOM, AND HERE MY TOP 14!
New parents often find themselves with a lot of questions and concerns about their role as new mom or dad. Here are 10 reasons why you might want to consider staying at home for this coming baby season:
1) YOU GET TO RAISE YOUR BABY THE WAY *YOU* WANT
The world is an extremely judgmental place these days, and moms are some of the most judged people I know! If you don't want to have a fight about formula vs breastfeeding or co-sleeping versus cry it out (or any other debate), then stay off social media mommy groups. lol
The challenges that come with juggling work and family life can be challenging for moms. For example, waking up every hour on the clock may not always feasible because it’s hard to get enough sleep during pregnancy or when caring for children who need attention throughout their day (elderly parents might also find themselves struggling). It's often difficult choosing between breastfeeding versus using formula; some women even have limited options in terms of where they'll take care off kids if Day care isn't available close by-which means one option plus another decision needs making all at once!
The at-home mother has never been more empowered or free than she is now. She can breastfeed in any position, cloth diaper if that's what works best for your baby and even put him to sleep with a bottle while listening to you play classical music!
2) BREASTFEEDING BECOMES SO MUCH EASIER
As we mentioned earlier, and I’m not saying that it's impossible to breastfeed and work- because working while breastfeeding can totally be done! –but if you're home with your baby then the process is much easier.
I know some women who struggled desperately just trying to get anything out of their pump at all for fear they would forget one important task on top of everything else; but as soon as those rockstars got into office space again after giving birth (or having another child), grandma duty kicked in without hesitation or regret
3) YOU GET TO SEE ALL THEIR “FIRSTS”
Missing out on your baby’s first smile, step or word can be incredibly painful. I remember one episode of Modern Family where Mitchell was upset because he missed all the special moments with his daughter and so decided not to work anymore (in that case working did come back around). The pain associated with missing these events is very real!
4) BABY SLEEP BECOMES A NON-ISSUE
The sleep deprivation is hard on both you and your baby. If only I had realized how important it was to get my new little bundle of joy some rest from time-to-time, then maybe things would have gone differently for us in this department!
My baby was a great sleeper until he woke up at night to eat. I remember the first time my newborn slept through an entire 48-hour stretch, but then it became clear that this would not always be possible because of work demands on top of parenting duties—and so we had no choice other than training him how to fall Asleep himself!
After realizing that I didn't have to get up for the day just because it was morning, my life changed. Nowadays, our baby usually falls asleep around 6 am and sleeps for three or four hours while we're at work! Since there's no need in going out anywhere during those times anymore (since they happen when you wakeup), taking naps has been easier too - which means more control over how much sleep one gets each night
5) YOU CAN DEVELOP A CLOSER BOND WITH YOUR KIDS
There’s something about being a stay at home mom that gives you the perfect opportunity to be their number one person. You will have so much quality bonding time with your kids if work doesn't get in between! As opposed to when they are younger and there just isn't enough hours during any given day for both parents/child interaction... life happens though right? Yes it does- which means sometimes we need our weekends free from distractions or else what's left of them
6) THERE ARE SO MANY BENEFITS TO YOUR CHILDREN
Kids who go to daycare often have higher cortisol levels, which is an indication that they're under more stress than kids at home or with a stay-at-home parent. The implications of this could be far reaching: if you want your child's developing brain (and indeed all our young people) develop into healthy adults capable of dealing effectively both within themselves AND outside sources; then it’s important for them not only spend time playing scenario games over brunch but also take some moments each night
The biggest advantage of cooking at home with your child is the control you have over what they are eating. You can decide how much fat or sugar there should be in their food, which will make them less likely to develop an unhealthy diet later on down the road when it's too late!
I'm not going suggest that parents stop taking them out for restaurants; instead I recommend making sure everything served has low amounts (or no) added sugars and fatty acids so everyone stays happy throughout dinner time
7) YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN SCHEDULE
This is a major benefit. At least to me!
I’m not actually cut out for having someone else dictate my schedule and this has been one of many reasons why I decided on staying at home with kids, rather than going back into the work world full time – which also allowed us more freedom as parents since we could plan our family vacations accordingly; all while giving myself plenty of alone-time during those hectic days when everyone needs something from you (like sleep).
8) YOU CAN PURSUE YOUR HOBBIES AND INTERESTS
Find the time to do what you love. It’s true that not everyone has loads of free time, but they also aren't working all day long either! You can start a hobby just for fun or make some extra money by doing something like selling your handmade items on Etsy and having them shipped internationally too - there are endless possibilities when it comes down this topic so don't be afraid anymore- go build yourself an awesome life fullness where everything fits together perfectly well!!
9) YOU CAN MAKE BETTER FRIENDS
Stay-at home moms without a job tying them down can make BETTER friends and cultivate relationships with the people they choose to, instead of being forced into workplace friendships.
